Philadelphia has a busy summer ahead, as it gears up to host the FIFA World Cup and a run of shows marking America's 250th anniversary. Come June 4, the city will also welcome Elsewhere, its second-ever contemporary art fair, following one single edition of the Philadelphia Fine Art Fair in 2019.

Elsewhere marks the first time a local has staged such an event. Its mastermind is Megan Galardi, who is behind the Belle Vista-based Blah Blah Gallery. Launched in 2023, the gallery has swiftly made its presence known beyond the city, at events including SPRING/BREAK, Future Fair, and SPLIT LEVEL. “I love the way that it allows me to introduce Philly to a broader community of artists,” Galardi said.
